Reinforce your students' understanding of time signatures and note values with this magical game!
WHAT IS IT?
Players take it in turns to pick up potion bottle cards and identify the value of the note or rest. They then decide on a cauldron to place it in (making sure they don't exceed the number of beats in the time signature!). If the card completes the time signature (for example, if there were three beats in a 4/4 time signature and they add a one beat note) then they win that cauldron as theirs.
The player with the most cauldrons at the end is the winner!
